We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team in the events agency industry. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in procurement, particularly within the Lebanese and GCC markets, coupled with excellent negotiation and organizational skills. This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing supplier relationships, ensuring adherence to deadlines, and contributing to business development efforts.Key Responsibilities:Supplier Management:Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers, ensuring alignment with the company’s standards and requirements.Conduct regular supplier evaluations and maintain updated procurement documentation.Register the company on supplier platforms to expand the network and access to resources.Oversee supplier negotiations to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms.Procurement Processes:Manage the procurement lifecycle, from sourcing and purchasing to delivery, ensuring cost-efficiency and quality.Monitor and enforce adherence to project deadlines and budgets.Handle contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Market Knowledge:Leverage market insights in Lebanon and GCC countries to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive suppliers.Stay updated on industry practices and local regulations to inform procurement decisions.Operational Excellence:Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to meet project needs and client expectations.Maintain detailed and accurate procurement records for audits and reporting.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement with business objectives.Business Development Participation:Support business development initiatives by sourcing and recommending innovative supplier solutions.Contribute to client proposals and project planning with insights on cost-effective procurement strategies.QualificationsKey Competencies:Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational and time management abilities to meet tight deadlines.Knowledge of procurement tools and platforms.Proven ability to manage budgets and cost-saving initiatives.Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience, preferably within an events agency or a related industry.Deep understanding of the Lebanese and GCC markets.Proficiency in procurement software and tools.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
