Job Description

 

Potential unit managers will undergo a structured development program designed to prepare them for leadership roles within the company.

This position is ideal for individuals with a proven track record in insurance sales and a strong desire to lead a team. The candidate will eventually be trained in business development, team management, and sales leadership to manage their unit of insurance agents.


Key Responsibilities:


1. *Sales and Business Development*:

  - Achieve personal and team sales targets by promoting a variety of insurance products.

  - Identify opportunities for new business and build relationships with potential clients.

  - Assist in developing and executing strategies to expand the client base.


2. *Team Leadership and Development*:

  - Undergo leadership training to manage a team of insurance agents.

  - Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring new agents.

  - Monitor individual and team performance and provide coaching to ensure achievement of sales goals.


3. *Client Relationship Management*:

  - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with appropriate insurance solutions.

  - Address client needs and provide exceptional service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  - Manage renewals and policy adjustments as necessary.


4. *Administrative and Reporting Duties*:

  - Prepare and submit regular sales reports and performance reviews.

  - Maintain accurate records of team activities and sales pipelines.

  - Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.


5. *Training and Development*:

  - Participate in training programs to enhance insurance product knowledge and leadership skills.

  - Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in sales management.


6. *Business Planning*:

  - Work with senior management to develop business plans and strategies for achieving unit-level goals.

  - Contribute to setting team objectives and implementing strategies for success.


Required Qualifications:


- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in insurance sales or financial services.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- High motivation and willingness to take on leadership responsibilities.
