Odoo Techno-Functional Consultant
Job Purpose
Responsible for analyzing business requirements, configuring, and deploying Odoo ERP solutions to enhance operational efficiency. This role involves collaborating with various departments, providing technical and functional expertise, and ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of Odoo system.
Perform duties in accordance with Malia Group Policies and Procedures.
Duties And Responsibilities
On Implementation & Customization
- Conduct business analysis to understand company workflows and processes
- Configure and customize Odoo modules to align with business needs
- Develop and implement best practices for ERP utilization
- Collaborate with developers for custom module development and enhancements
On Deployment & Integration
- Oversee system installation, configuration, and deployment
- Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and internal systems
- Ensure smooth data migration from legacy systems to Odoo
On User Training & Support
- Train end-users and department teams on Odoo functionalities
- Create user manuals and documentation for system usage
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting
On System Monitoring & Maintenance
- Perform system updates, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Monitor system performance and optimize functionality
- Identify and resolve system issues in a timely manner
On Process Improvement & Reporting
- Analyze and suggest improvements to business processes using Odoo
- Generate reports and dashboards to assist in decision-making
- Ensure compliance with IT security and data protection policies
Education And Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in ERP implementation, business process mapping, and systems integration.
Excellent knowledge in different stacks such as Python, PostgresSQL, JavaScript, HTML,CSS, XML
Proficiency in ERP modules (Sales, CRM, Inventory, HR, Accounting, etc.). Odoo ERP modules is a plus
Understanding of Python, PostgreSQL, XML, and Odoo framework (preferred).
Experience with API integrations and data migration.
Knowledge of business intelligence tools and reporting systems.
