MissionManage and monitor all logistic service providers (internal or external warehousing, blending, transportation…). Align service levels with business (delivery times, transport costs, stocks, handling services..) and product (regulations, quality requirements..) needs, whilst driving continuous improvement.Main Accountabilities
Ongoing warehouses and hauliers to ensure conformance local transport, warehousing, storage, repacking and blending operations against applicable regulations, specifications and procedures. Perform regular reviews to guarantee compliance
Assessing new service providers:
Warehouses and conveyors
Forwarders, transportation companies, customs and clearance agents
Region Support in monthly and day to day freight proposals:
Manage specific pricing requests for road, air and sea freights (FTL, FCL) taking into consideration optimized lead time and price
Optimized communication flows to relevant stakeholders (related to KPIs to reply, communication, etc ...)
Maintain adequate archiving process/folder to keep all relevant documentation and records up to date
Adhere to monthly KPIs to insure smooth and effective process
Warehousing
Execute SHEQ overall recommendation and audit reports follow up
Management of damage claims related to warehousing operation and coordination with internal stakeholders (SC flows and SHEQ)
Manage the following (direct: MEA HUB & LB warehouse – Indirect: Affiliates as supervision & guidance)
Physical stock counts at all relevant warehouses (twice per year if feasible)
Monthly stock reconciliation
Stock Adjustment (damaged / expired / shelf life extension / etc ..) as per procedure
Destruction of expired or damaged stock
Reporting and Coordination with Finance for all related procedures and reports
Manage and maintain adequate archiving process/folder to keep all relevant documentation and records up to date
KPIs
Follow logistics KPIs (yearly, monthly, and daily if applicable)
Azelis International, HUB and associated HUBs (FZE & EMEA link)
Coordination with MEA affiliates for implementation
Cost optimization
Monthly and periodic invoice checking, resolving issues and reporting to Finance as per agreed process
s and timelines for Lebanon operations.
Supply chain flow, System and tools – implementation, execution and integration
Coordination with supply chain team on overall processes and flows optimization
Coordination with other functions within the company to insure business continuity and proper procedures execution (finance, commercial, SHEQ, IT, HR)
Support in system and tools, execution in coordination with other functions (OCOS, D365, SageX3)
Manage and maintain adequate archiving process/folder to keep all relevant documentation and records up to date
People Management
Line management and coaching the team and stimulate high quality performance of team members
Identify training needs with the team to ensure objectives and KPIs
Responsible for retention, recruiting, training, rewarding, etc.
Sustainability
Translate the Group’s Sustainability Strategy into concrete job-related action items and contribute actively and timely to the implementation of the sustainability KPIs
Experience, Skills & Education
Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain
Operational experience in Supply Chain management
Experience in managing a budget
Change management experience in supply chain processes
Ability to influence and achieve results through others
Ability to liaise with people at all levels both internally and externally
Broad-based knowledge and understanding of a supply chain function
