Job Description

The Junior Chef is a full-time, on-site role. The successful candidate will report to the kitchen Chef and is mainly responsible for preparing ingredients and all menu items. The candidate is also expected to assist other team members with cooking, inventory and other tasks.

 

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

 

  • Preparing ingredients and raw material (sauces, mixes…)
  • Setting up the designated section and ensuring it is ready for service.
  • Preparing and cooking all items on the menu, up to the best quality and in a timely manner, both for dine-in and delivery operations. This includes cooking, grilling and baking
  • Organizing and planning orders
  • Cleaning and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards throughout each process.
  • Monitoring of stock: daily, weekly and monthly inventories of raw material and other in-house produced items.
  • Waste control & waste management follow-up.
  • Assisting the rest of the team with other tasks assigned by Managers and the Chef.
