Human ResourcesHR Manager – Beirut, LebanonRole Summary: The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes within the organization. This includes developing and implementing HR strategies, managing recruitment and employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, fostering a positive work culture, and driving organizational growth through people management.Location: Beirut, Lebanon Business Industry: Express, Freight & Logistics Reporting to: HR Director Supervising: The HR TeamPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:HR Strategy and Planning • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s goals and vision. • Forecast HR needs, including workforce planning and succession management. • Monitor HR metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.Recruitment and Talent Acquisition• Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding. • Develop strategies to attract top talent and build employer branding. • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.Employee Relations and Engagement• Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes collaboration and inclusivity. • Act as the main point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution. • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and retention.Training and Development• Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs. • Support career development plans to enhance employee performance and satisfaction. • Ensure alignment of training programs with organizational goals.Performance Management• Manage the performance appraisal process, ensuring fairness and consistency. • Provide guidance to managers on setting objectives and providing constructive feedback. • Identify and address performance gaps through coaching and support.Compliance and Policies• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations. • Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures. • Oversee the management of employee records and contracts.Compensation and Benefits• Design and implement competitive compensation structures. • Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration. • Conduct periodic market benchmarking to maintain competitive advantage.HR Technology and Reporting• Optimize HR management systems and leverage technology for efficient operations. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR data and analytics. • Generate reports on key HR metrics, such as turnover, retention, and headcount.Qualifications and Skills:Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). • 5+ years of experience in HR management, with a proven track record of leading HR functions.Core Skills• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices. • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. • Proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization. • Leadership skills with a focus on driving results and managing change. • Analytical mindset with experience in using HR metrics and data-driven decision-making. • Proficiency in HR management software (e.g., SAP, Workday, BambooHR) and Microsoft Office Suite.Personal Attributes• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach. • High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity. • Ethical, approachable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
