Job Description
Graphic Designer/Digital Marketing Specialist will be a creative graphic designer and marketing professional responsible for integrating marketing tactics with community and business development strategies to increase the branding visibility and revenue for various lines of business. This position requires graphic and web design skills to develop a variety of digital, print and other mediums while ensuring brand continuity and consistency for marketing and communications. Graphic Designer/ Digital Marketing Specialist will be expected to be entrepreneurial with customer-centric and business development skills to generate leads that drive consumer traffic to various lines of business.
This role is team-centric, customer-focused, fast-paced and receives/provides art direction providing cutting-edge, creative thought and design solutions to marketing challenges for the organization. The Digital Marketing Specialist will work closely with the executive leadership team to conceptualize and develop branded marketing materials using graphic design, websites, social media, and printed materials. Preferred additional skills include hands-on experience with SEO, Google Analytics, and Google AdWords.
Job Duties Include:
Graphic Design 60%:
- Prepare graphic design work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials and planning concept; illustrate concept by designing rough layout with sketches and mock-ups of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts;
- Support the graphic and web design needs of various lines of business to understand their business goals, scope of work, and brand to develop customized design needs;
- Coordinate, design and manage graphical content for all of platforms including websites, print media, social media, electronic newsletters, product design, displays and productions for organization and its clients;
- Produce videos, photography, animated graphics and other electronic multimedia;
- Actively participate in team brainstorming/concept development sessions;
- Take creative critiques from management to adjust design based on these critiques; adheres to organizations branding guidelines;
- Adhere to project deadlines and provides status updates on a regular basis to management;
- Complete projects by coordinating with outside consultants, agencies, art services, printers, photographers, illustrators, other designers, staff, etc;
- Maintain technical knowledge in graphic design and emerging trends;
- Contribute to team effort by helping with other projects as needed;
- Other duties as assigned.
Digital Marketing 40%:
- Identifies target market, creates a brand image, and creates and maintains a marketing campaign for the internet and for digital technologies;
- Increases brand awareness and promotes company products and services to increase production;
- Puts together various online promotions and e-mailing campaigns to get message out, and also performs consumer research to discover other ways of reaching customers by way of the Internet;
- Provide support for management of website’s SEO, Google Analytics report analysis, and Google AdWords strategy;
- To increase brand awareness, promote company products or services and to drive prospects to conversions;
- Community and business outreach including identification of potential business opportunities and partnerships;
- Other duties as assigned.
