French Language Instructor (Canada Immigration Preparation)

We are looking for an experienced French language instructor to teach adult learners aiming to achieve intermediate-level French proficiency.

This role will focus on practical language skills and preparing clients for the Test d’Évaluation de Français (TEF) or Test de Connaissance du Français (TCF) exams, which are often required for Canadian immigration

Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective and engaging French lessons designed to help clients reach at least an intermediate level quickly.
• Prepare students for TEF/TCF exams with targeted lesson plans and practice exams.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different levels of English proficiency.
• Provide ongoing assessments and feedback to ensure steady progress.

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in French Literature
• Experience: At least 2 to 3 years of teaching French to adults, preferably in an accelerated or exam-preparation setting.
• Certifications: DELF/DALF or equivalent in French instruction, with knowledge of TEF/TCF preparation.
• Languages: Fluent in French and English, with excellent communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Proven track record in helping adult learners reach intermediate or higher proficiency quickly.
• Experience preparing students for TEF/TCF exams, ideally within an immigration context.
• Ability to create a supportive and motivating environment tailored to adult learners.
