Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to oversee our monthly closing process. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ERP Microsoft 365 and a background in a Big 4 accounting firm. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies. Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Utilize ERP Microsoft 365 for financial reporting and analysis. Maintain and enhance ERP systems to improve efficiency and accuracy of financial data. Train and support staff in the use of ERP Microsoft 365. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures. Implement recommendations from audit findings to enhance financial controls.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. Provide training and development opportunities for team members.

About You:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial controller or similar role. Experience working with a Big 4 accounting firm is a strong plus Proficiency in ERP Microsoft 365 is essential. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Familiar with SEC requirements. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
