Job Description

Prepare and manage annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management.
Monitor key financial metrics and recommend improvements to enhance profitability.
Generate timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Coordinate financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds for operational needs.
Manage banking relationships and financing arrangements.
Monitor working capital, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory.
Identify areas to reduce costs and improve financial efficiency.
Implement internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
Supervise and mentor finance/accounting staff.
Coordinate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business strategy.
Lead training or development initiatives for finance team members.

Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Master’s degree (e.g., MBA or Master’s in Finance) is preferred.
5+ years of progressive financial experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic
Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).
Advanced proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
