Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to plan, manage, and execute various events. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all event logistics, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering exceptional experiences for attendees. This role requires strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan, organize, and execute events, including corporate meetings, conferences, trade shows, fundraisers, and social gatherings.


  • Collaborate with clients to understand event objectives and requirements.


  • Develop event budgets, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.


  • Secure venues, catering, entertainment, and other necessary services.


  • Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all elements run seamlessly.


  • Coordinate with marketing and PR teams to promote events and manage attendee registration.


  • Handle logistics such as transportation, accommodations, and scheduling.


  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise before, during, and after events.


  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.


  • Evaluate event success through feedback and reporting.



Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).


  • Proven experience in event planning and coordination.


  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask.


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


  • Proficiency in budgeting and contract negotiation.


  • Experience working with corporate, nonprofit, or large-scale event planning.


  • Knowledge of event marketing strategies.


  • Certification in event planning (e.g., Certified Meeting Professional - CMP) is a plus.



Additional Information

This role may require working in office settings as well as on-site at various event venues. The job often involves irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.
