The main role of the Director Finance is to oversee and manage the complete financial operations of DHL Express Lebanon, encompassing financial reporting, working capital management (DSO, DPO), budgeting, adherence to accounting policies, investment evaluation, fiscal matters, and risk management. Ensure compliance with group policies, guidelines, and local regulations.
Furthermore, to act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic financial and business support to the Lebanon Senior Management Team.
Your Tasks
- Financial Management & Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting; oversee balance sheets, P&L, and compliance with internal and external audit standards.
- Planning & Budgeting: Lead annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting, providing detailed department-level financial plans.
- Business Advisory: Offer financial guidance for investment decisions, pricing, costing, and process reengineering.
- Controls & Compliance: Implement and maintain financial policies to ensure risk management and safeguard assets.
- Regional & Network Support: Collaborate with regional teams on financial projects and initiatives.
- Cash Flow & Customer Accounting: Manage cash flow, ensure timely billing, and achieve DSO targets.
- Team Development: Train, coach, and develop finance staff while planning for succession and maintaining optimal staffing levels.
- Reporting Relationships: The Director Finance reports to the CFO MENA with a dotted line to Country Manager
Directly Manages:(1)Financial Accounting & Controlling Manager
(2)Customer Accounting Manager
·Work Location: Airport Head Office.
YOUR PROFILE
- Education: Degree in Finance/Accounting; professional qualification (CPA, CA, or equivalent) required.
- Experience: Minimum 5–8 years in financial management, with at least 3 years at the Finance Manager level.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills; ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Competencies: Business acumen, negotiation, relationship management, and a commitment to excellence.
