CPA - Accountant with US Experience

We manage two legal entities: Jobs for Humanity, a nonprofit, and HumanityAI, a C-corp, both incorporated in Delaware, USA. Our goal is to hire a CPA with experience with quickbooks to ensure that all financial statements are up to date and that we file taxes with the IRS correctly and on time.

Must-have:

• A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
• Strong grasp and understanding of financial controls and best practices.
• Experience in external audit.
• Capable of working to meet tight deadline deliverables, and able to be flexible to prioritize multiple tasks and deliverables at one time.
• Ability to summarize findings and conclusions in a succinct and professional manner, tailored to senior management and board-level audience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.

Nice to have:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Experience of working in a global finance environment, with previous experience with US Companies being highly advantageous.
• Strong excel skills, with financial modeling experience being desirable, but not essential
