Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented Chef De Partie specializing in Pastry to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Pastry Chef in preparing delicious desserts, pastries, and baked goods.
Job Responsibility:
1. Assist the Pastry Chef in creating and preparing high-quality pastry dishes.
2. Follow recipes and ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
3. Supervise commis pastry chefs and pastry cooks in their tasks.
4. Monitor and maintain inventory of pastry supplies and ingredients.
5. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
6. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new pastry recipes and menu items.
7. Maintain a clean and organized pastry section in the kitchen.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Pastry Chef De Partie or similar role.
2. In-depth knowledge of pastry techniques and principles.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
4. Strong attention to detail and creativity in designing pastry items.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
6. Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.

5. Certification from a culinary school or equivalent work experience.
