Business Development



Business Development Manager, Express & Freight – Beirut, Lebanon



Position Overview:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth and generating new business opportunities for the organization. S/He will identify potential clients, develop strategic partnerships, and implement effective sales and marketing strategies. The Business Development Manager also collaborates with various internal teams to achieve revenue targets and expand the company’s market presence.

Key Responsibilities:



Business Acquisition and Growth:
• Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities to expand the company’s client base.
• Develop and execute tailored strategies to penetrate target markets and achieve revenue goals.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to support organizational growth.

Customer Relationship Management:



• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Proactively address client needs, resolving issues with efficiency and professionalism.
• Act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring seamless communication and support.

Strategic Planning and Execution:



• Contribute to the development of overall business strategies, goals, and budgets.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and refine approaches.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create value-added solutions aligned with client requirements.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:



• Establish and monitor metrics to assess business development effectiveness.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
• Use data-driven insights to improve strategies and operational efficiency.

Team Collaboration and Leadership:



• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive efforts in meeting client needs.
• Mentor and guide team members to foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Support the development of innovative solutions that add value for clients and differentiate the company in the market.

Qualifications:



• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a managerial role in the Express and Freight industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain genuine relationships.
• Analytical mindset with a demonstrated ability to evaluate market trends and performance data.
• Well-developed conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and other business development tools is an advantage.
