Role Summary: The Accountant in an Audit firm plays a crucial role in conducting financial audits for clients to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements with accounting standards and regulations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform financial audits of clients’ financial statements to verify accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Examine financial documents, records, and transactions to identify errors, discrepancies, or irregularities.
• Provide accounting and clerical support to the Department.
• Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
• Perform in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
• Gather and review relevant evidence to support audit findings.
• Coordinate with clients and company personnel to obtain information and explanations.
• Identify non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare audit reports detailing findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Communicate audit results to clients and present findings to senior audit team members.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance or related field.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in Accounting is a must.
• Accounting & Finance relevant certifications are a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in audit software and financial analysis tools.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Ethical and professional conduct in handling sensitive financial information.
