Account Manager - GPS (Technology Sales)
Job Purpose
Responsible for achieving maximum sales volume and profitability, growth and account penetration by effectively selling the company’s solutions.
Responsible for the implementation of Sales Strategies and objectives defined by upper management.
Responsible for issuing sales orders to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain proper collection cycle.
Perform duties in accordance with Malia Group Policies and Procedures.
Duties And Responsibilities
On Sales
- Develop and demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the marketed solutions
- Analyze the market’s potential and determine the value of existing and prospective clients
- Establish, develop and maintain productive and professional relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business for the company’s services
- Perform cold calls and in-person visits to understand and quantify customers’ requirements
- Lead presentations to potential customers, suppliers and promote Maliatec Solutions, specially IoT & GPS solutions.
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, sales management, logistics and technical service teams
- Develop effective proposals, quotations for prospective customers while ensuring proper negotiation in order to close deals
- Meet the Unit’s assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives. Achieve assigned sales quota and gross margin.
- Participate in trade shows, conventions, conferences and other events to promote the company’s services
On Customer Service
- Maintain high customer satisfaction levels that meet the company’s standards
- Participate in investigations of customer complaints, respond to all customers’ queries and concerns in a timely manner
- Proactively assess customer need on on-going basis and lead solution selling that best address these needs
On Compliance
- Follow-up on clients agreements, credit limits and mode of payment and abide by them
On Reporting
- Report to management on customer needs, problems, competitive activities and potential for new services
- Report to BUM monthly sales numbers.
- Keep manager informed about products’ performance, opportunities, budget variances and problems that are encountered
On Technology
- Stay abreast of latest technologies, applications, technical services, market conditions, competitors’ and competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through research and readings
On Sales Coordination
- Issue GIS sales orders on Oracle for Lebanon, make sure availability of goods and ensure selling price is higher than the landed cost
- Place renewal orders for GIS Lebanon
- Communicate with customers on delivery date and follow up accordingly
- Generate statement of account (SOA) as per clients' request
- Create new customer profiles on Oracle for Lebanon
- Prepare quotations, fill related information on Laser Fiche and archive them
- Issue local Purchase Orders (PO) for GIS Lebanon
- Create leads and accounts on Salesforce
On Collection
- Prepare on a weekly basis the collection status report and share with Customer Experience Manager
- Handle collection process for GIS Lebanon
On Client Support
- Train clients on new GPS Systems
On Stock Management
- Consolidate sales order and ensure accurate installation by service center team & Place requisition forms to ensure availabilty of stock
Education And Experience
Education
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Marketing
Experience
1 to 2 years of strategic sales experience in solutions’ selling , previous experience in selling GPS solutions is a plus
