Job Description

The Warehouse Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the logistics and inventory of a primary, prep, and secondary school environment. This position involves overseeing the storage, distribution, and organization of educational materials and supplies, ensuring that all resources are available for teachers and students. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining an efficient warehouse operation, which is essential for supporting the school's educational mission.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow.
  2. Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of educational materials and supplies.
  3. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
  4. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse management.
  5. Train and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  6. Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize space and resources.
  7. Collaborate with teachers and administrative staff to fulfill supply requests in a timely manner.
  8. Prepare and maintain reports on inventory levels, usage, and discrepancies.
  9. Assist in the planning and execution of warehouse layout and organization.
  10. Address and resolve any issues related to inventory discrepancies or supply shortages.
