Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and attending to customer needs.
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of dining area, including tables, chairs, and table settings.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and ingredients to provide recommendations and answer customer questions.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of orders.
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Assist with restaurant opening and closing duties as needed.


Skills

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills for handling order transactions.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience working with diverse customer groups.
  • Knowledge of different cuisine types and ingredients.
  • Experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions.
