Trade Sales Manager



This position works out of our Kuwait location in the Abbott Nutrition Division

As Trade Sales Manager, Provide sales supervisors with the leadership, direction and resources to ensure trade targets are achieved and to liaise with marketing team to ensure short and long- term sales and strategies are applied by the sales team.

Core Job Responsibilities:



Achieve sales targets with the allocated budget and manpower.
Provide direction to facilitate goal-setting process in line with Corporate and Marketing Department.
Goal setting per supervisor with a frequent monitoring of their performance; follow up sales administration, monitor progress, measure results, reward incentive payments and perform appraisals.
Select, interview new recruits to the sales team and provide in-field coaching to facilitate succession planning.
Control and monitor implementation of sales strategies and tactics and provide feedback and market intelligence to Marketing Department.
Improve contacts with key accounts: identify opportunities for corporate marketing and cultivate as appropriate.
Follow up with different outlets/key accounts and monitoring the sales and stocks
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures and serve as a role model to all employees by demonstrating full support of Abbott occupational health, safety and environmental programs.

Education/Qualifications/Experience:



Bachelor Degree in Commerce/General Science.
Minimum 3 years of experience in trade management role, with 3 years “Achieve Expectations” overall achievement (or above).
Strong coaching and leadership profile.
Organization and Industry intelligence.
Strong selling skills base.
Analytical skills and territorial planning technique.
Computer skills is a must.
Good command of English Language.
