Job Description

Danone MENA is looking for a talented Trade Marketing Specialist to be based in Kuwait and to manageKuwait, Qatar, Bahrain like you!


In the context of Specialized Nutrition MENA, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellence in execution of trade processes, in terms of correct assortment, PICOS, efficient sales channel control, business expansion & channels mix optimization. In summary, the candidate will support sales forecast planning & delivery, according to demand management – whether offtake, IMS, market days on hand, or returns.


The candidate will also carry the following responsibilities:


Promoters Support Duties:


  1. Targets setting, result analysis and follow up
  • Setting and communicating targets and KPI’s
  • Collecting, consolidating & analyzing the results
  • Creating and updating reports
  1. Promoters Materials monitoring & Training curriculum
  • Coordinating and ensuring the latest materials are used
  • Coordinate and follow training calendar
  1. Coaching visits
  • Conduct and report the coaching visits and share feedback with involved stakeholders

 E-commerce:


  1. Distribution, Availability and e-merchandising
  • Monitor, report & follow up on distribution and availability
  1. Activations, Promotions & Pricing
  • Ensure all activations are executed as per plan, analyse the results and share reports

Trade:


  1. Market audits
  • Conduct store audits in the given markets, draft action points and follow up with the sales teams on the execution
  • Use the sales team assessment tool
  • Follow the MSL and all executional KPI’s
  1. Distribution
  • Monitor, report and follow up on distribution
  • Look for distribution opportunities
  1. Commercial and channel development
  • Manage the sales teams reviews and education
  • Execute channel specific activations and plans
  1. Commercial analysis and reporting
  • Collect and analyse sales & RA reports
  • Draft conclusions and action points
  1. Activations and projects executions support
  • Implement the trade marketing strategy for given countries in line with SN Middle East overall plans
  • Follow up with promotional & activation plans, from development of POS to timely delivery of promotional materials in store, while managing the available budget
  • Standardize the methods of evaluating the various promotions & generate timely reports
  • Take corrective and pro-active actions to improve promotions/activities effectiveness
  • Plan, execute & monitor in coordination with Senior Trade Marketing Manager Gulf relevant route to market, CATMAN or other relevant projects in the given markets

In order to be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have:


Experience:


Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience within KAM, sales or trade marketing


Education:


Bachelor degree in business administration or equivalent


Other qualifications:


  • High proficiency in MS office, especially Excel
  • Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
  • Candidate needs to be based in Kuwait, have own car and a driver's license
