Job SummaryTo identify, plan and achieve growth opportunities by channel. The Trade Marketing & Merchandising Manager defines and develops each category and initiates consumer and trade marketing activities and promotions. He/she will lead the marketing team and support the sales operation to successfully develop and deliver the GTRC fundamentals across all categories and channels.Job ResponsibilitiesTo coordinate with concerned managers to achieve total GTRC sale revenues and Profit & LossLead and manage the marketing team on daily basis, establish a clear role and responsibilities for each member of the teamSupport the sales operations in terms of reducing business inefficiencies Undertake all marketing activities in liaison with principles and respective Division HeadDevelop internal and external relationships where necessary to maximise synergiesBuild an annual business plan to reflect brand positioning, with a particular focus on new brandsPrepare and suggest trade and consumer promotions to improve distribution and off takeDesign, prepare and negotiate all key Business Development AgreementsCoordinate and lead the “Monthly Activity Cycle Meeting”Negotiate Advertising and Promotion fundsResponsible for allocating promotional stockUnderstand, plan and communicate all activities with concerned ManagersTo manage Point of Sale Materials and Assets and retain a control sheetProvide financial performance by brandShare with principles and GTRC management all competitive information via a standardized reportProvide post activity analysis including Return on Investment (ROI) analysisOversee market shares by brandRecommend prices of stock aging and close expiry products and recommend corrective action plansRecommend and execute training courses for merchandisersProvide analysis for GTRC share of shelf by brand
