Job Description

The Supply Chain Manager plays a crucial role in the trading and commodity trading sector, overseeing the entire supply chain process from procurement to delivery. This position requires a strategic thinker who can optimize supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with various departments, managing supplier relationships, and implementing best practices to enhance supply chain performance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's goals.
  2. Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing costs.
  3. Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  4. Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  5. Oversee logistics operations, including transportation and warehousing, to ensure efficient distribution.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan inventory accordingly.
  7. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain efficiency.
  8. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  9. Lead and mentor supply chain staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  10. Continuously research and implement innovative supply chain technologies.
