Store Manager takes overall responsibility for the running of the store, ensuring that every customer has a great experience and receives a great cup of coffee.
Job Responsibilities
Lead store team in all aspects of delivering the best coffee experience to every guest, all the time
Take overall responsibility for delivering brand standards at all times by ensuring that the store is opened/ closed & operated in line with all Costa & company standards, policies and procedures
Ensure that all relevant COSTA check, standards, food and health and safety checks are completed
Take overall responsibility for managing the stock and order systems for food and consumables whilst delivering the budgeted margins/profit
Ensure all Company policies and procedures are followed to maintain cash & stock in a secure manner
Communicate all key information to the store team in the most effective way using the most appropriate media including Team Meetings and Shift Briefings
Deal with and resolve customer complaints
Ensure all marketing updates and new POS are implemented and maintained effectively
Execute all aspects of “Right Person, Right Time”
Train, coach and develop the team to ensure that they deliver brand standards and a great customer experience
Complete team member one to ones, coffee chats etc.
Analyze and act upon financial/ performance data to ensure the store is run in the most efficient and profitable manner
Take initiative to develop store sales & involve in local store marketing
Perform all tasks as defined in the Barista and Barista Maestro’s Job Descriptions
Deliver annual budget & KPIs for the store
