The Sr. Sales and Marketing Executive is responsible for driving marketing and sales efforts for Washingtonia Agriculture and Landscaping Company. This role requires understanding in agricultural products, landscaping services, and retail sales, combined with strong leadership to manage and motivate teams effectively. The individual will oversee marketing strategies, sales growth, and customer engagement while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Regular visits to client sites and showrooms across Kuwait are critical to building customer relationships, understanding market trends, and supporting sales staff.
Marketing Responsibilities
• Create and execute marketing strategies tailored to agricultural and landscaping markets, aligned with company objectives and market trends.
• Ensure consistent and impactful representation of Washingtonia’s brand across all marketing materials and platforms.
• Conduct research to identify customer needs, competition, and emerging trends in the agricultural and landscaping sectors.
• Plan and oversee marketing campaigns across digital, print, and on-ground channels to enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.
• Oversee the development of marketing content, including promotional materials, social media posts, and product/service showcases.
• Establish and nurture relationships with local agricultural associations, landscaping organizations, and key influencers to enhance brand credibility and reach.
Sales Responsibilities
• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue, profitability, and customer loyalty in agricultural and landscaping markets.
• Lead, mentor, and manage sales teams across various locations, ensuring alignment with performance goals and objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and distributors to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Monitor sales metrics, generate regular performance reports, and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct regular visits to customer sites and showrooms to provide guidance, assess performance, and maintain consistent brand standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless delivery, inventory management, and product/service availability.
• Provide market feedback to teams developing new products and services, ensuring offerings align with customer needs.
• Align marketing efforts with sales strategies to create cohesive customer journeys and maximize conversions.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Agriculture, Landscaping, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in marketing and sales, with at least 1 year in a managerial role, ideally within the agricultural or landscaping sector.
• Strong understanding of Kuwait’s agricultural and landscaping markets.
• Proven success in leading marketing initiatives and achieving sales growth in relevant sectors.
• Proficiency in CRM software, marketing automation, and sales tracking tools.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Kuwait for client and showroom visits.
