Job Description
Job Objective / Purpose:
The Specialist – Digital & Social Media is responsible for managing the development and execution of all Digital Marketing plans and campaigns for the Company’s Business Lines, ensuring they are running efficiently in line with the business objectives and the targeted audience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy Formulation
- Support in the development of the Marketing Strategy in line with the Company’s strategic directions.
- Support in the development of objectives and KPIs for the unit, review and monitor operating results, and ensure appropriate measures are in place to achieve targeted objectives and reduce risk.
2. Budget and Cost Control
- Support in the development of the annual budget for the unit.
3. Policies & Procedures
- Implement and follow policies and procedures to achieve desired objectives.
4. Digital & Social Media Activities
- Manage the development and execution of the Company’s Digital Marketing and Social Media plans, advise on improvements and amendments, and ensure alignment with the Company’s strategy and objectives.
- Utilize Social Media platforms to manage online content effectively.
- Oversee the timely and accurate implementation of the content plan.
- Monitor social media campaigns from concept to implementation to ensure objectives are met.
- Maintain relationships with influencers, professionals, and key industry vendors to enhance brand trust and awareness.
- Monitor online communities and ensure appropriate engagement.
- Manage the creation of new social media profiles or accounts as needed.
- Collaborate with Heads of Business Lines to align social media efforts with business goals.
- Suggest training for employees to stay updated on best practices and technologies.
- Conduct research on innovative social media content ideas.
- Collaborate with business lines to enhance reputation and run advertising campaigns effectively.
- Review and verify content quality for social media campaigns.
- Optimize social media profiles to increase content visibility.
- Use competitive research and insights to enhance content and strategy.
- Identify and escalate threats in user-generated content to the Head of Strategy Management.
- Resolve negative reviews and coach employees on best practices for managing them.
5. People Management
- Support in identifying manpower requirements.
- Conduct performance appraisals and approve related results, salary increments, and promotions.
- Prepare annual development plans for employees.
- Oversee training initiatives and ensure their effectiveness.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or any related field.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration is preferred.
- Digital Marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) certification is preferable.
Professional Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in the same or a related field.
- Previous experience in the same industry is preferred.
