Research, plan, and recommend software/hardware and system solutions
to meet the business requirements, as directed by the development
supervisor.
- Prepare studies for reengineering specified production systems and
implement approved changes in line with user needs.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new application development in SharePoint.
- Build, deploy, and maintain SharePoint solutions (internet/intranet
websites, portals, applications) to meet business requirements.
- Maintain specified production systems, ensuring they align with approved
changes and user needs.
- Keep upper management informed through regular reports on work
progress and challenges.
- Ensure the quality of service extended by the IT Center using quantitative
and qualitative measures.
- Deliver documentation, including source code, to IT Center employees
and ensure their ability to manage these systems.
- Provide on-the-job training and monthly tutorials on new SharePoint
topics to ITC staff.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the development supervisor or
higher IT management.
- At least 17 years (11 years for Kuwaitis) of direct IT experience:
- Minimum 13 years as a Programmer using SharePoint
- Minimum 9 years as a Systems Analyst
- Minimum 5 years as a Project Leader
- Minimum 7 years in web application design and implementation using
SharePoint
- Minimum 9 years of experience with SharePoint 2013/2016
- At least 6 years of experience in Kuwait
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related field
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server architecture and administration
- Full knowledge of MS Visual Studio and ASP.NET
- Minimum 11 years of experience in building SharePoint solutions
- Knowledge of Crystal Reports
- Certification in SharePoint courses and Microsoft Certified Technology:
- Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 Configuration
- Microsoft Core Solution SharePoint 2013
- Microsoft Advanced Solution SharePoint 2013
- Accomplishment of at least 4 major software development projects
- PMP certification is preferable
- Previous experience with government sites is preferable
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Strong communication, training, project analysis, and problem-solving
skills
- The candidate must be of Arab origin, fluent in Arabic, and able to work
with Arabic applications.
