Job Description

The Senior Internal Auditor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the financial operations within the automotive dealership and distributor sector. This position involves conducting comprehensive audits to assess compliance with policies, regulations, and standards, ultimately contributing to the organization's financial health and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in internal auditing, risk management, and financial analysis, enabling them to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough internal audits across various departments to evaluate compliance with established policies and procedures.
  2. Analyze financial statements and operational data to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
  3. Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans for management.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations and monitor progress.
  5. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure the organization remains compliant.
  6. Assist in the development and execution of the annual audit plan.
  7. Provide training and guidance to junior auditors and staff on auditing practices and procedures.
  8. Participate in risk assessments to identify potential areas of concern within the organization.
  9. Support external auditors during their review processes by providing necessary documentation and insights.
  10. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by recommending process enhancements and efficiencies.
