Key Accountabilities:
Project Execution & Deliverables
- Prepare financial reports related to budgets, forecast, account payables, account receivables, expenses and interpret financial information to Kuwait leadership while recommending further courses of action.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, volume of manhours and the company’s actual performance and ensure these align with contractual obligations.
- Interpret trends, metrics and projections for Kuwait, conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
- Supervise & implement the preparation of the Kuwait forecast & budget in line with OKQU plans & strategy. Review, monitor and manage functional budget..
- Work closely with various other departments, functions and stakeholders discussing Location plans and projects in order to reconcile with the financial information
- Track Kuwait’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement and implement methods for minimising financial risk for the location.
- Assist in liaising with internal & external auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring and compliance are maintained for the Location.
- Understand and adhere to financial standards, regulations and legislation.
- Monitor & ensure accurate and timely client billing and pro-actively run Kuwait’s working capital targets.
- Supervise Project Accounting team to monitor project profitability & performance by ensuring accurate recovery of all costs as defined in the contract and ensuring the minimisation of non-billable costs.
- Assist the Senior Manager, Ops Finance in supervising the Kuwait Operational Finance team.

Job Specific Skills (knowledge, experience, capabilities, systems)
- ·Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to HSE management and its associated requirements in a project environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of UINA business model and its implication on Financial outcomes
- Application, use and understanding of the Worley core systems such as Oracle GBS.
- Application and understanding of the Worley Project Management Process (WPMP) and Enterprise Management System (EMS).
- Good understanding of the commercial aspect of the project contract/procedure and the application to the cost management.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- ·Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
- Minimum 6 years in the Engineering, consultancy services Industry in the Finance stream.
