Reports To: Manager Investments
Job Summary: The Person assists in managing the financial operations of the company’s investment portfolio. This role ensures effective monitoring, compliance and reporting of investment activities, risk exposure, and performance metrics. The Person works closely with senior management, investment team and external auditors to maintain the integrity and efficiency of financial processes related to investments.
The job needs good accounting capabilities. Analytical abilities is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Financial Oversight:
· Assist in the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial reports related to the company’s investment portfolio.
· Monitor cash flow and liquidity management to ensure proper funding of investment activities.
· Support the evaluation of financial performance of investments and provide insights on potential improvements.
Ø Investment Monitoring & Control:
· Oversee daily investment operations, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
· Support the implementation of internal controls to manage risk and safeguard assets.
· Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of investment accounts.
Ø Compliance & Reporting:
· Ensure that all investment-related financial reports meet regulatory and organizational standards.
· Liaise with auditors, ensuring the transparency and accuracy of financial records.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
Ø Collaboration & Communication:
· Work closely with world’s top investment managers / bankers, accounting teams and legal advisors to coordinate investment and other necessary activities.
Ø Requirement open for Indian nationals
Ø Required Masters in Accounting / ACCA / CA Inter / ICWA
Ø 8-10years experience in the field of Accounting
Ø Familiarity with financial systems - SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems
Ø Knowledge of financial regulations- IFRS, GAAP, Solvency II
Ø Proven experience in financial control, investment analysis, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
Ø Strong knowledge of investment accounting principles, financial reporting, and risk management.
