Job Description
On behalf of our client, we seek experienced candidates for the position of Sales Manager, who will manage all aspects of store operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This includes supervising staff, optimizing budgets, maintaining inventory, sourcing supplies, and driving sales while minimizing costs. The Sales Manager also oversees additional teams such as Carpentry, Contracting & Fixing, Warehouse, and Designers, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Organize and oversee all store operations, including the Carpentry, Contracting & Fixing team, Warehouse, and Designers, allocating responsibilities to personnel.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and address any operational issues promptly.
Staff Supervision & Development:
- Supervise and guide employees to achieve maximum performance and productivity.
- Recruit, schedule, train, and evaluate employees to build a high-performing team.
Financial Oversight:
- Prepare and control the store’s budget, aiming to minimize expenditure while maximizing efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze sales and revenue reports to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Forecast financial performance and implement cost-control measures.
Inventory & Procurement:
- Source supplies, negotiate pricing, and select items to ensure optimal stock levels and budget compliance.
- Oversee inventory management to keep the store well-stocked and address customer demands effectively.
- Collaborate with procurement and accounting teams to maintain liability records and warehouse availability.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Handle customer complaints professionally to maintain the store’s reputation.
- Plan and execute in-store promotional events or displays to attract and retain customers.
- Stay updated on market trends to enhance the store’s offerings and customer experience.
Quality Assurance:
- Inspect store areas regularly and resolve any issues to maintain high operational standards.
- Ensure all teams adhere to safety and quality guidelines.
Skills
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field (Master’s degree is desirable).
Sales Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of sales management best practices and principles.
