The Sales Lead Pharma will be responsible for motivating and leading teams across Kuwait and Bahrain to achieve the sales objectives of the current Diabetes and Hospital Acute Care lines and accelerate new product launches through:
- Execution Excellence: being execution and results-focused, per compliance standards; setting ambitious expectations for accomplishment and ensuring others contribute to organization strategies by focusing them on the most critical priorities, measuring progress and ensuring accountability against those metrics.
- Coaching and Development: coaching and developing others for success; providing feedback, instruction and development guidance to help others excel in their current or future job responsibilities; planning and supporting the development of individual skills and abilities.
- Ownership and accountability: delegating and empowering others; identifying and leveraging opportunities to accelerate results and build capability by assigning tasks and decision-making responsibilities to individuals or teams with clear boundaries, expectations, support and follow-up.
- Networking and Partnerships: building partnerships; developing and leveraging relationships internal and external with key stakeholders to ensure achieving results
- Innovation: creating novel solutions with measurable value for existing and potential customers (internal or external); experimenting with new ways to solve work problems and seize opportunities that result in unique and differentiated solutions.
Key responsibilities includes:
- The Sales Lead develops and aligns with his/her supervisor a territory plan that identifies short and long term objectives such as sales and market share objectives along with key customers, strategies, tactics and KPIs.
- The Sales Lead is required to achieve targets by prioritizing strong financial performance and successfully delivering on operational commitments.
- The Sales Lead needs to have strong market analysis in terms of understanding market dynamics, segmentation, market penetration and expansion and allocate resources in way that achieves the objectives and maximizes ROI
- The Sales Lead needs to work with the cross functional team to ensure we continue to win tenders, maximize advocacy and increase consumption
- He/she needs to establish and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders
- He/She will lead and coach an effective, efficient, and productive team by ensuring that the appropriate structures, systems, competencies, and values are developed.
- He/She will motivate and support his/her team members develop and progress in their careers
- He/She needs to create a culture of trust, embracing diversity and fostering collaboration between team members and internal stakeholders.
- He/She needs to attract, recruit, develop and retain talent
- He/She need to comply with the letter and spirit of all local laws and regulations and conducts himself/herself in a professional and highly ethical manner consistent with company policy.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry is the GCC with proven track record of success
- Prior people management experience is a must
- Prior experience in both primary care as well as acute care market is preferable
- Kuwait market experience is preferable
