Job Description

TITLE:                         REGISTRATION ASSISTANT


REPORTS TO:           DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS


Primary Functions:  


A Registration Assistant is responsible for maintaining student records at the campus level. Process student enrollment, transfers, and withdrawals for the campus.


Key Responsibilities include:


  • Maintain physical and computerized records including cumulative student folders, progress, and failure reports, class rosters, schedule changes, and grade books.
  • Process new student records, including requesting transcripts and records from other schools, setting up cumulative folders, and entering student data into appropriate databases.
  • Coordinate grading process, including the processing of scan sheets, verification and correction of grades, and printing and distribution of report cards.
  • Process and transmit requests for student information, including student transcripts for colleges and universities.
  • Assist counselors with the enrollment, withdrawals, and transfer of students and process applicable records.
  • Assist campus administration and counselors with the preparation of reports and student data information.
  • Organizing and administering student records.
  • Overseeing the student admissions and graduation process.
  • Ensuring records are updated with new grades, attendance, finances, etc.
  • Training staff at the registrar's office to use software related to records administration.
  • Keeping student information confidential and secure.

Requirements:


  • Female candidates are preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred).
  • Prior experience as a registrar for a similar institution.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong computer literacy, with database familiarity.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional appearance
