About the Job:
Responsible for diagnosis of diseases and treatment based on different procedures such as MRI, ultrasound, CT Scans X-rays, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the Supervisor – Radiography to manage and maintain a high level of expertise and reducing faults/issues effectively to guarantee the safe operations of the Radiography equipment, ensuring an efficient flow and optimal utilization of resources.
- Conducts patient examinations and diagnosis nature of disease or disorder.
- Performs aspirates, biopsies and other related tests and special procedures.
- Undertake and perform CT, MR, Mammography, and general X-Ray examinations requested to a high level of radiographic skill.
- Assist the Consultant Radiologists in the performance of their examinations being amenable at all times to a broad spectrum of requests
- Performs all procedures in a safe manner, i.e., venepuncture, contrast administration, and invasive procedures.
- Prepares automatic inject with proper contrast for the procedure, adjusting all setting parameters according to the procedure and radiologist preference.
- Provides support at Vascular intervention Procedures as follow:
- Arterial peripheral vascular diseases such as (PVD, Stenting, below knee, carotid -trans catheter – Intra-arterial).
- Venous Diagnosis such as (application and removal of IVC Filters – spermatic vein embolization in treatment- trans-jugular)
- Non-vascular Intervention (ultrasound and CT -PCN- Catheter drainage- Microwave ablation -SI-Nucleoplasty and nucleoysis)
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Imaging.
- Post Graduate degree in medical imaging required if base degree not in medical imaging/Radiography.
