Job Description

  • Develop, review, update, and implement QHSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company goals
  • Oversee quality checks and inspections during the production process, ensuring products meet required standards before they leave the factory
  • Receive all incoming raw material shipments, ensuring that they are inspected for damage, authenticity and conformity to specifications. Test samples of raw materials to verify they meet quality and safety standards before they are approved for use in production
  • Receive daily produced volumes from the production supervisor, ensuring proper quarantine procedures are applied to batches pending further testing
  • Send samples from each batch to the laboratory for safety and quality testing, ensuring that all products are safe for consumption and meet quality standards before they are released
  • Release the goods to the warehouse team for storage once the lab results confirm that the products are safe and meet the required standards
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production facility and products.
  • Investigate quality issues and non-conformances, and develop corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality-related issues and enhance product quality.
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, and prepare reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Implement and maintain environmental management systems and practices.
  • Monitor and report on environmental impact, including waste management, energy usage, and resource conservation.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Promote sustainability initiatives within the company.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to quality, health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Prepare and present reports on QHSE performance, incidents, and compliance status to management.
  • Ensure proper documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on QHSE-related matters.
  • Foster a proactive approach to QHSE issues and encourage continuous improvement.
