Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Officer to manage the procurement of non-food items, including boxes, bags, cups, and plastic containers with customized logo printing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vendor sourcing, contract negotiations, order management, and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of purchased products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential suppliers, evaluating their offers to ensure the best quality and pricing.
- Negotiate contract terms, agreements, and pricing with suppliers to optimize procurement costs.
- Review and ensure the quality of purchased products aligns with company standards.
- Enter order details, including vendor information, quantities, and prices, into the internal database.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchased products, delivery schedules, and invoices.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as required to ensure inventory availability.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling of purchased items.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and best practices.
