The pre-seller's responsibility is to support sales efforts by proactively promoting and selling a range of soft drinks and beverage products to potential customers. You will act as a liaison between the company and these customers, ensuring that sales targets are met and customer satisfaction is achieved. Your role will involve a combination of sales, relationship management, and market analysis, focusing on these important retail outlets.
1. Sales and Promotion:
a. Present and promote soft drinks and beverage products to potential customers, such as retailers, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores.
b. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and provide product recommendations and solutions.
c. Actively engage in product demonstrations, tastings, and promotional events to create brand awareness and generate sales leads.
d. Utilize persuasive selling techniques to influence customers and secure sales orders.
2. Order Processing and Inventory Management:
a. Receive and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
b. Monitor inventory levels at customer locations and provide recommendations for replenishment to avoid stockouts.
c. Collaborate with internal teams, such as logistics and distribution, to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
3. Market Analysis and Reporting:
a. Conduct market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitors' activities.
b. Gather feedback from customers regarding product performance, pricing, and promotions.
c. Prepare regular sales reports, analyze data, and provide insights to management for informed decision-making.
4. Territory Management:
a. Manage a designated sales territory, including route planning and regular store visits.
b. Identify new business opportunities within the territory and develop strategies to expand market penetration.
c. Monitor competitor activities and propose countermeasures to maintain a competitive edge.
5. Product Knowledge and Training:
a. Stay updated on the features, benefits, and specifications of soft drinks and beverage products.
b. Provide training and product knowledge sessions to customers and distributors to enhance their understanding and selling capabilities.
