The Preschool Teacher Assistant supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for preschool-aged children. This role involves assisting with classroom activities, supervising children, and helping to implement educational programs that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily activities and educational programs.
• Support the Lead Teacher in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Assist with meal times, nap times, and bathroom routines as needed.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
• Observe and document children’s progress and behavior.
• Help prepare and set up materials for classroom activities.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
• Adhere to all school policies, procedures, and regulations regarding health, safety, and child protection.
