The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company,
ensuring the timely and cost-efficient delivery of services. This includes streamlining processes,
optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring that all services meet quality standards while
aligning with business goals.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Manage and monitor the smooth functioning of the company projects.
• Prepare strategic plans for operational activity and implement and manage operational
plans.
• Develop and maintain the operational division’s budget ensuring that adequate provision
is made for all activities. Keeping track of the costs, generating reports based on the
studies and taking necessary corrective actions.
• Monitor and control expenditure against approved budget and reconcile budget variances
to ensure on-target performance against budgets.
• Analyze workflows and assignments to ensure operations run efficiently.
• Guide and lead the operations team to ensure the fundamental roles and objectives of all
projects are achieved.
• Build strong relationships with clients and improve the overall customer experience and
satisfaction.
• Coordinate closely with managers, supervisors, and all operations team to create a
continuous flow of information regarding ongoing operational activities.
• Review financial statements and data. Utilize financial data to improve profitability.
Prepare and control operational budgets
• Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals in relation to Projects.
Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to
maximize output.
• Ensure operational compliance with Scope of work and, Health, and Safety (EHS),
Environmental, and Quality Assurance (QA) requirements and goals.
• Monitor performances of process and people and implement improvements. Manage
quality and quantity of employee productivity
• Regularly assess and review operational processes and procedures to identify areas of
improvement and establish acceptance of new methods and standards.
• Manage and Track changes made to the scope of work and make recommendations
and/or communicate with Project Account Managers.
• Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of all operations through improvements of each
function.
• Maintain current knowledge base in field of expertise by staying abreast of applicable
industry/discipline developments
• Select, train, motivate, performance appraisals, devising PDP, coaching and evaluate
department personnel. Direct, co-ordinate and review work plans for the department,
assign activities, monitor workflow, review and evaluate policies and procedures
• Prepare a variety of studies, reports and related information for decision making purposes
and to highlight changes in trends to the senior management team
• Direct the projects management activities with respect to accounts/projects management,
Client relationship, Communications and Client retention.
• Ensure that clients are being provided with a high quality service and that clients’
satisfaction is achieved and maintained at all times.
• Control resources and monitor staff proficiency and qualifications.
• Ensure training needs of employees are identified and recommend relevant training
initiatives that will assist in building a highly professional and knowledgeable workforce.
• Prepare regular reports for the Chief Operations Officer that summarize and forecast
regulatory activities and financial position of all operations activities and escalate critical
issues to provide effective recommendations in meeting the key challenges.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
MBA or Bachelor in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Certification/accreditation: COM ( Certified Operations Management) PMP ( Project
Management Professional),
• 10+ years of proven experience in Operations Management, Project Management,
leadership positions, or any similar role.
• Understanding of Government Contracting and Compliance, FAR (Federal Acquisition
Regulation), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement), and other
government-specific regulations.
• Familiarity with (CAS) Cost Accounting Standards and other standards to ensure proper
financial reporting and compliance.
• Proficiency in managing complex, large-scale projects under tight timelines and budgets,
often with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience managing government contracts, ensuring deliverables are met, and handling
contract modifications or disputes.
• Experience working with teams across multiple locations or agencies, fostering
collaboration and maintaining operational alignment.
• Mastery level in developing, delivering, and monitoring operations strategies, plans, and
budgets.
• Proficient in Computer skills, Operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, ERP
System ( D365) and others.
• High level of communication and organizational skills ( Proficiency in English- Arabic is
an added value).
• Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple
tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
