Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 FO) Supply Chain Functional Consultant with over 8 years of experience implementing supply chain solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Product Configurator, Product Information Management (PIM), and other core supply chain management modules within D365 FO.
You will work closely with stakeholders to analyze business processes, design solutions, and ensure the successful implementation of supply chain modules in D365 FO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO Supply Chain modules, including but not limited to Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Sales & Distribution, and Production Control.
- Conduct detailed business analysis to understand client requirements and translate them into functional specifications for D365 FO solutions.
- Utilize expertise in the Product Configurator to implement and configure product models based on business needs.
- Manage Product Information Management (PIM) to maintain accurate product data, streamline product lifecycle, and ensure seamless integration with other modules.
- Configure and maintain system parameters, workflows, and business processes within the D365 FO Supply Chain Management suite.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proper data migration, integration, and customization in alignment with business objectives.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to key users and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in the design, testing, and deployment of new functionalities and updates to D365 FO modules.
- Lead functional workshops and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets the client’s expectations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, ensuring smooth operation of the supply chain processes post-go-live.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates in D365 FO and recommend enhancements for continuous improvement.
Skills
Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (or AX) with a focus on Supply Chain Management.
- Strong functional expertise in Product Configurator, Product Information Management (PIM), Inventory Management, and Procurement.
- Proven experience in configuring and managing the full lifecycle of supply chain modules in D365 FO.
- Hands-on experience with D365 FO data migration, system integration, and customization.
- Ability to conduct business process analysis and create functional design documents.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Experience working in Agile or similar project management methodologies.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications related to Supply Chain or Finance and Operations are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Power BI or other reporting tools is a plus.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus.
