Master Data Officer

Job Title: Master Data Officer
Job Summary: The master data Officer ensures that the right SAP Master Data is entered and maintained in the SAP system.
Job Scope: 
* Ensure that the right processes and approvals are followed in case of any Master Data creation or change in the system.
* Ensure that the right inputs for all fields are provided in case of any Master Data creations or changes.
* Ensures that the upload of all master data happens within time and with accuracy in SAP Master Database
* Conduct regular reviews and audits of master data to identify and correct errors.
* Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
* Implement data quality standards and best practices to enhance overall data integrity.
* Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to master data entry processes.
* Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data entry tasks.
* Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement in data entry and maintenance.
* Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies related to master data management.
* Support any new IT projects from Master Data point of view
* Support to account team for digitizing (scanning) debit notes

Education: Business Administration or equivalent
Experience: 0-1 years’ experience in ERP and Master Data
Functional Competencies: 
* Prior experience in ERP systems is preferred.
* Prior experience in Master Data is preferred.
* Proficient with MS Excel, Word, Outlook
* Prior experience in SAP is preferred.
* Prior experience in testing in IT systems is preferred.
