Role Overview
With our expansion into Kuwait, we’re looking for a creative and driven Marketing Specialist to help localize and enhance the Calo brand experience through both online and offline marketing channels. You’ll be an essential part of the team, helping us stay fresh, competitive, and in tune with local market needs. We need someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a true team player, and embraces challenges with an energetic, solution-oriented mindset.


Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct market research to understand consumer requirements, habits, and trends in the Kuwaiti and GCC markets.
  • Identify unique selling propositions (USPs) for our products and communicate them effectively across all marketing channels.
  • Brainstorm and implement creative marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with brand strategy.
  • Assist in content creation and optimization, working closely with freelancers, agencies, and internal teams to maintain a consistent brand message.
  • Manage relationships with both micro and macro influencers to execute effective promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate across departments, including customer experience, performance marketing  and product, to build cohesive campaigns
  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives through online/offline channels to reach target audiences.
  • Assist in analyzing data from marketing campaigns to assess effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
  • Develop content tailored to different stages of the marketing funnel, ensuring relevance from awareness to conversion.
  • Proactively take ownership of individual marketing tasks as assigned, ensuring timely and efficient execution.

Ideal Candidate


  • Strong understanding of branding, content creation, and the Kuwaiti market.
  • Proven experience as a marketing specialist or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience working with influencers, managing relationships, and executing successful collaborations.
  • Experience with event marketing to engage target audiences and drive brand awareness.
  • Track record of working with agencies and  freelancers on creative projects.
  • Understanding of marketing funnels and the ability to create relevant content for each stage.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment while remaining adaptable and solution-focused.
  • Proven team player, with a collaborative attitude and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Ability to handle the challenges of growing the company fast and a mindset geared toward winning and achieving results.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience in the food & beverage industry and/or startups  is a plus
