Job Description

The Marketing Officer (Events) plays a pivotal role in planning, executing, and managing events that promote our brand and engage our target audience. This position requires a creative and detail-oriented individual who can work collaboratively with various teams to ensure the success of marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of event management, marketing strategies, and excellent communication skills. This role is essential for enhancing our company's visibility and fostering relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support the marketing director in the execution of marketing campaigns.
  2. Coordinate with the creative department and the social media officer to ensure event artworks and social media coverage are aligned.
  3. Organize events and exhibitions to showcase the brand effectively.
  4. Develop and manage rental venues to optimize event experiences.
  5. Oversee event planning, design, and production while managing all project delivery elements within time limits in coordination with the graphic designer and production officer.
  6. Provide feedback and periodic reports to assess event performance.
  7. Propose ideas to improve provided services and enhance event quality.
  8. Organize facilities and manage all event details such as décor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, and promotional materials.
  9. Cooperate with social media teams to promote and publicize events effectively.
  10. Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot problems on the event day.
  11. Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations and report on outcomes to inform future planning.
  12. Research the market, identify event opportunities, and generate interest among target audiences.
