Role Overview
We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager to lead our growth efforts in Kuwait, localizing and expanding the Calo brand across various channels. As a senior member of the marketing team, you’ll oversee campaigns from ideation to execution, manage key relationships, and ensure that every initiative aligns with our mission. We need someone with a strong sense of ownership, who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and can lead our growth positive, solution-oriented approach.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement strategies to drive traffic and conversions, both online and offline, ensuring Calo stays competitive and relevant in the Kuwaiti market.
  • Own the full lifecycle of marketing campaigns, from concept to execution, using insights from market research and data analysis to adjust tactics as needed.
  • Identify unique selling propositions for Calo’s offerings and communicate them effectively across all marketing and brand initiatives.
  • Collaborate with agencies, freelancers, and internal teams to create compelling, on-brand content that engages and converts our target audiences.
  • Build and maintain relationships with social media influencers across platforms, managing partnerships that align with our brand goals.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts with the customer experience, performance marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure unified communication across all touchpoints.
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, with a focus on continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify new opportunities for brand growth, including partnerships, event marketing, and new revenue streams, while staying up to date on industry trends.
  • Ensure marketing content aligns with each stage of the marketing funnel, creating a seamless customer journey from awareness to conversion.

Ideal Candidate


  • Strong knowledge of branding, content creation, and strategy, with a proven track record of successful campaigns
  • Experience leading marketing initiatives that involve influencers, managing relationships across micro and macro levels.
  • Demonstrated success working with agencies, freelancers, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven experience with event marketing to drive engagement and grow brand presence.
  • Strong understanding of marketing funnels and the ability to create content relevant to each stage of the customer journey.
  • Ability to handle the challenge of growing the company fast, with a mindset geared toward winning and achieving results.
  • Proven ability to work cross-culturally and remotely, with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a knack for creative problem-solving.
  • Prior experience in the food & beverage industry and/or startups  is a plus
