Job Summary
To be responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of an organization's regional marketing and advertising initiatives.
Duties and Essential Job Functions
Management:
1. Provides focus and a sense of direction for the department employees and management.
2. Establish and carry out the department goals, policies, and procedures.
3. Manage general activities related to providing departmental services.
4. Consult with other executives, staff, team members, and brands about general operations.
5. Direct, manage, and oversee the department financial and budgetary activities.
6. Analyze financial statements, reports, and other performance indicators and provide the necessary feedback
and recommendations.
7. Identify areas of raising efficiency and effectiveness and to improve performance, policies, and programs.
8. Monitor control and approve capital and non-capital expenditures and audit effectiveness.
9. Endeavor to develop and succeed in maintaining appropriate company image that strives towards
excellence in satisfying customers.
10. Develop quantified M.B.O. plans for the direct subordinates and ensure that the process propagates
through all levels.
11. To maintain viable and healthy relations with strategic accounts, business partners, official entities, and
government bodies
12. Perform other related duties as directed by the immediate superior.
Technical:
13. Developing and implementing strategic marketing plans that align with the company's business objectives
and target audience in the respective market.
14. Ensuring the marketing team delivers effective campaigns to generate leads, increase brand awareness and
drive sales growth.
15. Managing marketing budgets, allocating resources effectively and optimizing marketing spends to achieve
maximum ROI.
16. Fostering relationships with key business partners, vendors, and media outlets to maximize marketing
reach and impact.
17. Collaborating with different teams, including product development, sales, and operations to ensure a
seamless alignment and the execution of marketing initiatives.
18. Leading and mentoring a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and support to
drive excellence in marketing execution.
19. Acting as a brand ambassador, representing the company's values, and maintaining consistent brand
identity across all touchpoints.
Policy and Procedure:
20. Ensure the implementation of all organizational policies and procedures.
21. Ensure the implementation of all regulatory and SLA protocols.
Safety & Risk Management:
22. Ensure departmental risk management plan is in place and applied.
23. Responsible for managing the department’s exposure to operational risks.
24. Ensure commitment to all QHSE protocols and procedures as per organizational and official requirements.
Reporting:
25. Provides written reports in the appropriate medium as per schedule.
26. Provides research and documentation for all required matters
Minimum Job Requirements
A. Education
• College or University Graduate (preferable higher level of
education MBA, etc....) in Marketing and/or Advertising.
B. Professional Experience
• From eight (8) to ten (10) years’ experience gained through
increasingly responsible management positions within the
Marketing and/or Advertising sector.
• A minimum of three (3) years recent experience as the top
Marketing executive.
C. Competencies Required
• Proficiency in MS Office packages such as Word and Excel,
PowerPoint Presentation; e-mail and internet Business
valuation and acquisition; feasibility studies preparation;
business plan presentations; basic accounting, data research
and interpretation.
• Familiarity with risk assessment.
• Management skills related to Marketing planning and management.
• Proven track record of developing, managing, and executing wide-ranging marketing campaigns across B2B and B2C
verticals.
• Deep understanding of the consumer landscape, market dynamics and cultural nuances.
• Proficiency in public relations, business development strategies, customer experience enrichment, analytics, and
data-led marketing.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• A strong strategic and business mindset
• Knowledge of basic accounting, budget formulation and control
• Leadership and personal effectiveness
• Proficient in English language (read, write, speak)
• Satisfactory in Arabic language (read, write, speak)
