Job Description

Job Brief:


The Marketing and PR manager will Plan, develop and implement the marketing plans & communications, and public relations activities, including both external and internal activities, to enhance ALP’s brand.


Job Responsibilities:


Marketing and Brand Management:


  • Work with the Strategy & planning Director in developing company brand proposition and guidelines
  • Conceptualize and manage special marketing initiatives for the organization, including working with other departments to understand internal requirements
  • Assist in development of overall marketing communications framework and policy
  • Gather and report market intelligence on competitors within similar industry and their brand perception in the market to replicate best practices.
  • Research on relevant bloggers and creating lists for maximum outreach
  • Supervise the third party partners and their performance towards execution of social media projects

Public Relations:


  • Handle media inquiries and interview requests. Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations.
  • Supervise the marketing partner’s work towards social media marketing, including targeted followers’ engagement, content creation, hash tag management & reporting.
  • Analyze the reports and insights by partner on social media conversations.
  • Effectively manage company communication appearing in the public domain.

Communication Management:


  • Continuously collaborate with sales teams/ external agents to achieve target goals of sales revenue.
  • Liaise with group marketing team to maintain synergy and brand eminence as a whole group.
  • Manage the Company website content in liaison with IT team.

Other Areas:


  • Support effective implementation and utilization of existing or new tools and systems, including customer relationship management.
  • Evaluate scope for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an ongoing basis.
  • Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and stakeholders trends.
  • Define, develop and execute Marketing Projects/tasks including market research.
