Job Summary
Supervision of mechanics to achieve 99% up time of all equipment. Focus on PM to reduce breakdown rectification.
Minimise equipment down time, repair cost and time effectively.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe work environment for all workers.
- Supervise and guide the mechanics for breakdown, PM, and other maintenance activities.
- Supervising of capex projects.
- Finding better alternative solutions. Such as better products from other sources other than equipment supplier.
- Manpower allocation day to day basis
- Coordinate with production for PM activities
- Ensure SOP for all equipment.
- Co ordination with Purchase dept for spares procurement.
- Ensure no wastage of consumables (oils /air / water) by implementing on time rectification of faults.
- Implement the SAP maintenance system to be up dated. by recording breakdown data.
- Co ordinate with stores to ensure spares and consumables are available.
- Achieve and maintain the 5S requirements.
Candidate Requirements
3 year government polytechnic diploma in engineering after completing 10th std.
10 years in industry
