Licensed Aircraft Engineer

Jazeera Airways is looking for Licensed Aircraft Engineer who would be responsible to exercise the license/approval in accordance with the accomplishment of scheduled, unscheduled maintenance and rectification of defects. He/ she will ensure the accomplished maintenance was in line with the required standards and the operating program is achieved in an efficient and safe manner. He/ She will ensure the recording and issuance of Certificates of Release of the accomplished service in accordance with the defined procedures and legislation.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Perform routine/ non routine Aircraft maintenance tasks as per his authorization scope issued by the company including but not limited to trouble shooting, components removal/ installation, servicing, systems& structural assessment/ repair, AD’s/ SB’s review &compliance etc.
  • Advice Shift Leader / Maintenance Manager of any defects found or suspected on aircraft, engines or accessory that may compromise safety and raise the related document to Compliance Monitoring Department.
  • Ensure documentation and its certification is completed in a timely manner and to the defined procedures to meet Company requirements.
  • Ensure that replacement parts and components are of an approved type, correctly certified and released and are physically inspected prior to fitment to aircraft or component. Ensure that removed components are correctly handled, labelled, blanked, and packed as per ESDS requirements etc.
  • Monitor cabin defect log reports to ensure positive corrective actions have been implemented.
  • Ensuring all ground support equipment used are cleaned and serviceable and returned to designated areas at the end of his shift period.
  • Review Technical log sheets, work packs and other relevant information for evidence of repetitive defects or non-positive maintenance actions following reported defects or rectification and ensure positive defect action has been implemented in a timely manner.
  • Support J9 MCC and give technical advice to the crew at base or remote location for rapid recovery of aircraft into service and keeping Management updated.
  • Lead the check and any special inspection by ensuring that required tooling and spares are made available and ensure that sufficient resources are available to accomplish that.
  • Coordinate with the various other workshops to ensure that all the maintenance is accomplished in timely and acceptable manner.
  • Ensure that individual Aircraft Licenses and Authorizations remain valid at all times and report to Compliance Monitoring Department for renewal.
  • Carry out flying duties and AOG recovery as per requirement.


Requirements and Qualifications:


  • Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or equivalent.
  • Kuwait DGCA/ UAE GCAA/ EASA License endorsed with Airbus 320 family with CFM 56B and/or LEAP 1A engines.
  • Minimum 2 years of certifying experience on A320 family as B1 or B2 Engineer using the privileges of any of the above-mentioned license held by Licensed Aircraft Engineer in the last three years.
  • Ability to read, interpret & follow aircraft related maintenance manuals/ Regulations/ Procedures clearly.
  • Time management, team-work, leadership and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communications skills especially in English.


Network Planning & Scheduling Specialist

The Network Planning & Scheduling Specialist is responsible for designing and optimizing the airline’s network to maximize profitability and operational efficiency. The role involves analyzing market demand, evaluating route performance, developing seasonal flight schedules, and ensuring optimal aircraft utilization. The specialist collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, including Revenue Management, Operations, Airport Authorities, and Civil Aviation, to implement strategic network initiatives.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Network Planning & Development:
    • Analyze market trends, passenger demand, and competition to identify new route opportunities and frequency adjustments.
    • Conduct feasibility studies for potential new destinations and route expansions.
    • Develop business cases for new routes, aircraft deployment, and frequency increases.
    • File seasonal schedules to CAA within the deadline.
  • Scheduling & Optimization:
    • Develop and maintain seasonal flight schedules that balance commercial demand with operational constraints.
    • Optimize aircraft utilization to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Coordinate with Operations, Ground Services, and Maintenance to ensure schedule feasibility.
    • Implement schedule changes based on slot availability, aircraft availability, and market dynamics.
  • Slot Management & Regulatory Compliance:
    • Apply and manage airport slots at constrained airports (Level 2 & 3) to secure optimal departure and arrival times.
    • Work closely with Civil Aviation Authorities and airport coordinators to comply with regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with Worldwide Airport Slot Guidelines (WASG) and other slot-related policies.
  • Route Performance Analysis & Reporting:
    • Provide recommendations to improve route performance through capacity adjustments or pricing strategies.
    • Conduct post-launch analysis of new routes and provide insights for future network planning.
    • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on network performance and strategic recommendations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with Revenue Management to align capacity planning with demand forecasts.
    • Coordinate with Commercial, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure network plans support revenue goals.
    • Engage with external partners, including codeshare and interline partners, to enhance network connectivity.


Requirements and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in airline network planning, scheduling, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of airline scheduling systems (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, or comparable tools).
  • Understanding of key airline metrics, including RASK, CASK, and break-even load factors.
  • Experience in slot management and coordination with aviation regulators is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in aviation route analysis tools (Example: OAG, MIDT, Flight Global).
  • Familiarity with aircraft performance characteristics and operational constraints.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on long-term network growth.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Revenue Management Specialist

The Revenue Management Specialist is responsible for optimizing the airline’s revenue by managing inventory, pricing strategies, and demand forecasting for assigned set of Routes. The role involves analyzing market trends, competitor pricing, and historical data to develop revenue-maximizing strategies. The specialist collaborates with internal stakeholders, including Network Planning, Sales, and Marketing, to align pricing and inventory decisions with commercial objectives.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Revenue Optimization & Pricing Strategy:
    • Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
    • Monitor and adjust fares based on demand patterns, competitive landscape, and booking trends.
    • Analyze passenger booking behavior to optimize fare structures and availability.
    • Ensure alignment between pricing policies and overall revenue management strategies.
    • Analyze historical booking data to predict future demand and optimize seat allocation.
    • Manage inventory levels by adjusting seat availability across different fare classes.
    • Work closely with Network Planning to align capacity with demand trends.
    • Utilize data-driven approaches to minimize revenue dilution and spoilage.
    • Conduct regular benchmarking of competitor fares and revenue management strategies.
    • Identify pricing opportunities and threats through ongoing market analysis.
    • Provide insights to Sales and Marketing teams to support promotional campaigns.
    • Adjust pricing and inventory strategies based on real-time market conditions.
  • Revenue Performance Analysis & Reporting:
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, RASK, load factor, and revenue per available seat.
    • Generate reports and dashboards to monitor revenue trends and strategy effectiveness.
    • Conduct post-departure analyses on pricing campaigns and promotions to assess performance.
    • Present findings and recommendations to senior management to enhance revenue growth.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with Network Planning to influence route profitability and frequency decisions.
    • Liaise with Sales and Marketing teams to optimize revenue from different sales channels.
    • Coordinate with Distribution and E-commerce teams to ensure optimal pricing execution.
    • Engage with external partners, including Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), to drive revenue opportunities.


Requirements and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in airline revenue management, pricing, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Experience with revenue management systems (e.g. AirRM, Kambr).
  • Understanding of airline revenue metrics, including RASK, CASK, yield, and load factors.

Duty Supervisor – Medina

We are looking for an experienced Saudi national to take up the role of Duty Supervisor for our Medina station in KSA to supervise all Ground Handling Agent’s and cargo handling activities in land and airside to ensure professional and timely customer service provided to Jazeera Airways’ passengers.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Ensure opening of check-in counters at STD -3hrs
  • Carry out GHA briefing on flight situation and all special handling requirements e.g. VIP/CIP/WCHR/UM etc.
  • Monitor closely check-in process i.e. documents checks/ baggage acceptance/ baggage labelling etc. Ensuring J9 service standards are met.
  • Monitor average queuing time and transaction time. Ask security questions, control EB revenues and identify passengers with bulky hand baggage.
  • Carry out airside and ramp duties ensuring proper aircraft loading/unloading.
  • Coordinate with GHA coordinator (Dispatcher) for proper follow up on load sheet and all post departure messages, ensuring that J9 standards are met.
  • In case of flight disruptions follow laid down procedures to minimize inconveniences.
