American International University (AIU) is looking for a dynamic and engaged Lab Coordinator. The Lab Coordinator at the American International University-Kuwait is responsible for oversight of all labs on campus. This includes labs taught by faculty from the following schools: School of Arts and Sciences, School of Engineering, and School of Architecture and Design.

Job Requirements:

• Coordinate the purchasing and storage of lab supplies.
• Evaluate lab technician job performance.
• Assist in the creation of lab schedules.
• Develop and implement lab safety policies.
• Coordinate maintenance of lab equipment.
• Prepare and submit budgets, including capital budgets for new equipment.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for each lab.
• Coordinate annual training for lab technicians and lab instructors.
• Coordinate delivery, setup, and training for newly purchased equipment.
  

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's or higher
• 2+ years of lab supervision experience

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in a supervisory role
• Continuing education in lab management and/or lab safety
• Master's degree or higher

Language:

• English (Required)
