About the Job:


An opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Storekeeper to join the Engineering Department at Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintain and manage the inventory of engineering spare parts, tools, and equipment to ensure smooth hotel operations.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of all engineering-related items.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate procurement requests to maintain par levels of electrical, mechanical, kitchen, plumbing, FLS and related items.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of stored items to ensure quality and compliance with hotel standards.
  • Issue materials and spare parts as per department requirements, keeping accurate records of usage.
  • Coordinate with the Engineering Team to ensure timely availability of essential spare parts and equipment.
  • Maintain records of receipts, transfers, and issuance of materials using computerized inventory systems.
  • Ensure compliance with Fire, Life & Safety (FLS) regulations related to hazardous materials storage.
  • Follow all Engineering Department policies, processes, and procedures to maintain consistency and standards.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Engineering Management.

Qualifications & Requirements:


  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in an engineering or hospitality environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, procurement, and storekeeping procedures.
  • Experience handling electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and kitchen-related spare parts.
  • Familiarity with computer-based inventory management systems (SAP, CMMS, or similar).
  • Understanding of Fire, Life & Safety (FLS) standards and safe storage practices.
  • Good English communication skills for coordination and reporting.
